400 years... and still French
So, I'm thinking of heading up to Quebec this summer for the festivities advertised in AAA World. Anybody have recommendations to share concerning what to do or where to stay? Should I visit Nova Scotia, PEI or anywhere else while I'm up there? Any reason to visit Toronto or Ottawa instead? I imagine they are much more typical cities.

if u head out to Nova scotia and such you will really enjoy the sites from the ocean, see about going whale watching etc.
But doesn't matter where u are, u must have a real canadian poutine ![]() Toronto and ottawa are big tourist towns because of the land marks (cn tower etc) how are you getting here? |

Being from Toronto I'd say head for Quebec City or Halifax. The history and scenary are incredible. Also, if you in for some big-city entertainment, then Montreal is closer and on the way to Quebec. You get the best of all worlds with Montreal. Big-city, French and English culture. But Halifax is also a great place too. Just be sure to keep an eye on the flooding thats going on out there and see where is affected.

hehehe. i probably won't have more than a week, if that. my friend and i would probably fly and rent a car, unless he really wants to drive through New England.
with all the suggestions i am getting, i may have to plan more than one trip.
