    ...why?

For the past 8+ years the committee has had raffle stuff covered.

WTF, matt; are you going to shoot down donations?

In the past, there has been a few Cougar-specific parts, and lots of general automotive stuff (detailing items, etc), and maybe some novelty items to round it out.

Not at all, but I'm just curious... because there has never been a post in previous years asking what stuff we would like.. Usually the committee decides, and that's what is raffled.

In the past, we've never had sponsors donate anything, either...

Re: What Would You Like To See As Raffle/ Auction Prizes

After 5 hours of no replies, I can only say "Yeah.. that's what I thought..."

Note: I have been drinking... am not in the greatest of moods lately, so I appologize in advance. I love you all and say the following with no disrespect what-so-ever, but from my perspective, I see a guy (Cougartuner) who comes out of nowhere, suggests some pretty ridiculous things (though with the best intentions I'm sure) with nothing to back them up. He wants to be a sponsor? Great... is he credible? Does anyone know him? This is the same guy who proposed a NECO/Cougarfest magazine... and is now giving the impression he has a company and suggesting(?) that could provide sponsorship to the event, and creating a poll that only a member of the CF planning committee should be posting.

I wish only the best for the event and everyone involved... (and really, I will buy you a drink if I'm totally wrong about CougarTuner) but lets be realistic and remember history.
In the past, I've provided a Cougar R/C body, and a wax/detail kit... (and to a lesser extent, t-shirts), but that hardly makes me a sponsor. Further, if the most votes in his poll are for "a body kit", does that seriously mean he is going to provide a free bodykit? Think about it. It sounds like its just a frivolous poll.

    *insert more rambling here*

Its just been bugging me this afternoon/night... I don't feel as if I'm so crazy that I'm the only one who shares those thoughts.

Okay, and what credibility do you have as a company/sponsor? (seriously)

You have to understand.. in the past, people with the best intentions have screwed up in the past.

SORRY WAS WORKING ...Like i said this is my first CougarFest and i am only trying to provide ideas and get ideas of what CougarFest is like, why write a magazine that every else said thought was stupid, and im not necessarily trying to be a sponsor just trying to offer opinion and donate items of interest to CougarFest to better the experience.. and as for bodykits i have 2 sets... needs work... but they are there... I work with whole sale metra and scosche products as my job is an audio installer... And I am trying to get my business out there check it out if you feel im not for real Cougar Tuners Customs - Home not trying to make enemies just trying to have a good time and make a few friends
