Need help finding cougs for sale around ATL....

I hope nobody tries to call this a classified, 'cause it's not. also hope I don't get in trouble for cross posting, but I hang out in Paulding county quite a bit as well.

What I need is for everybody to keep an eye out for 99-2000 cougars with manuals and v6's for under 2k bucks. engines can be blown, even the trans can, though mine is kinda raggedy so i'd rather start on a fresh trans.

preferred colors would be that dark silver/charcoal color, black, or the t-red looking color. white or normal silver would also work though, rather not have another blue car though, nor green. I guess the arrest me red would do if it was the right car. I also dont want zinc yellow. I'm guessing all interiors had the black dash?

also, if we can't seem to find a manual up to par, the I'd like a hand looking around NC-SC-GA scrap yards for a fourbolt manual subframe and LCA's on the cheap. figure if I'm going to need a subframe alignment, might as well upgrade the lca's too... someplace on the way to the location of the car would be nice...

this car will be the new home of my full '04 3.0, trans, and Koni suspension from my SE Sport contour that was recently totaled...

also wanted to add that it must have ABS, I tend to forget that for some reason ford cars made in the 2000's still didnt have ABS standard...

the pushbutton traction control would be nice too, but not really necessary...

I could put Bluestreak's old car back together, without motor and tranny since you don't need them, slap a paint job on it and sell it to you for $2,000... I could even deliver it back to ATL for you for the cost of gas and an oil change...

interesting, would it come with the carbon hood and door panels and stuff? or did you part it out? I know the hood would be painted, thats cool, I dont like rice anyway, but the 50lb's off the front would be nice since cougs seem to be about 125lbs heavier than base model 'tours...

Bluestreak may still have the panels... I'm not sure. It would definitely come with the hood though.

awesome, thats whats up, just let me know how much of it you still have and I'll try to keep you posted on my end. being in ATL, I might need to find a good place for me to do my swap and everything since I'm currently in NC, but that could change...
