Lets run em and make this a meet guys!

Your forced induced V6 vs my wimpy NA V8.

Lets run at Commerce or Reynolds dragway. Reynolds is towards Macon and generally faster times are to be had.

1/4 mile runs.


You get two runs against me.

You can run drag radials or slicks. Do it because ill be running Mickeys.

Lets lay down 20 dollars in the pot. That means winner and the fastest takes 80 bucks. (Enough for a tank of gas + a few more gallons)


Pick a test+tune date, and stick to it. No excuses, no "my car wasnt running right", tune it, do whatever you need to do to get ER DONE



If you guys only want to do highway kicks, Ill do 40-130.

If you hit 11's, I will personally kiss yo ass sir. I have never seen a Cougar run 11's.... a streetable one anyways. Even non streetable, Ive never even seen a Cougar hit a mid-high 12. Knocking on 12s maybe, but never in the 12's.

Well I'm not claiming it yet but Mike aka Stangkiller did claim to hit mid 12's and get into the 11's with nitrous. Now I drove the car this weekend and it's fast but I'm not sure about that fast. However, I do know that after Dave (turbo19psi) got it, he didn't exactly help it any with anything he "modified".

Saturday, I also drove my friend's dad's '91 TT 300Z around (only 36k btw) and it was fast but I'm willing to bet that the Black car is damn close to it the way it currently sits. It has so many parts that we haven't gotten on yet that I don't think I'll be disappointed in the end. Anthony can atest to the 300Z and the black car.

I don't have the will, or power(in the car that is), to run in the 12s so i'll pass. I've seen a friends 06 run low 11s with slicks and a 100 shot so i would imagine you would be in the low 12s. I don't doubt i could get high 12s with what i have now and a 150 shot, but i'd rather not try it just to be disappointed. The past couple times i have taken it out it has smoked pretty significantly, and the compression on cylinder #1 and #6 is down about 40-50 points on the rest.

And not to make excuses... but i am about to start building a house and don't have the time or money to drop another motor in the coug, which is why i'm dropping the insurance on it next month. I'm getting married Saturday, , and need to save as much as possible for the house.

I'll have it back up and running good one day, but it won't be a day anytime soon... and for a change... i don't mind that.
