Does car wax expire?

Oh I def. wont be using acid! no offense, I'd rather keep the factory clear coat on my wheels.

lol I dont know what acid you guys are using but The one professional detailers use dont take off anything or leave any marks on my wheels and ive used it many atimes seeing as how my boyfriend is a professional detailer.

Thats weird though Ive never heard of that happening make sure your using the right acid

There are at least two types of acidic wheel cleaners and many different formulas -- look at the label to ensure compatibily with your finish -- generally they're either chrome-only or everything-else.

One of the better over-the-counter wheel cleaners I've used isn't acidic, but alkaline -- Eagle One All Wheel & Tire Cleaner -- works like a charm and is safe for most all auto wheels, chrome or factory coated.
