Is goo gone safe for paint?

Will goo gone remove my paint while i try to take off the dealer sticker?

Dumb question...i just took off the state park stickers and some tape from my windows, so i thought i would do the dealer sticker at the same time

no goo gone wont take off the paint but it may leave it looking a little dull and in that case just give that area a good waxing and that should fix it right up....when i removed the dealer sticker and all the emblems on the trunk i found the paint was a little faded and you could still see where the decals/emblems were so i used ICE liquid clay bar on the whole car but especially on those areas and it turned out amazing

Also, WD-40 is excellent for taking the sticky off. Just spray and let it sit a minute the wipe off.

For anyone else, check out Goo-Gone Spray, might be easier for such an application.

do you have a 1999? I want to shave mine, but if there will be the slightest trace of paint fade I'll wait.

Rio Red 1999 btw, help anyone?
