First STL Event of the Season

It was an interesting event. I guess DC is dealing with a recall on the Caravan/Town & Country, so one of the lots at the event site was filled with over 1200 of the things. All new from the factory but undeliverable to dealers. It made for an interesting background for the pics.


Day started off decent but the rain started during the 3rd heat which I was running, so I only got 2 dry runs. By the 4th heat is was pouring pretty good and there was standing water on the course. Watching the FSAE car run through puddles deeper than it's ground clearance made you feel sorry for the driver.
Here's an idea as to how wet it was in the 4th heat:


I'm still waiting for the results to be posted to see how TLMotorsports and I did.

the results are in, Sonza finished 37 on the index and i finished 60th on the index, both outta 132

further breakdown, Sonza had 6/13 in class(SM), I had 7/11 in class(GS) on the novice side i finished 8/37 and i dont think Sonza can run novice championship this season

No novice championship for me, I ran almost a full season last year.

yeah, i think that steve foy character in HS is gonna be hard for me to beat, <chants to self>must get r comps on 16x6.5rim</chants to self>
