Resonant Engineering xxx12?

Ok, well heres the deal, I got 2 Resonant Engineering xxx12 subs from my cousin and i didnt know they rms at 1600 and max at 2500 watts. Ive honestly never heard of this company, dont know if they are good or bad. So anyways, I dont have a amp to push these. Closest thing i have are 2 zapco 750s. Any one know of a good amp to run these subs. Or even if they are worth running

RE:Resonant Engineering xxx12?

IMO these are some of the nicest subs on the market! I sure hope your not planning on running both 12's in a cougar at rms because you'll blow your window out bud! these things hit harder than w7's, there not heard of because there a small company sub from vegas! and theres like 5 dealers through out all of the US if that! I've been looking for a good deal on these subs everywhere but not 12's because thats way too much for me, I like oxygen and having windows in my car too much for that haha! anyways if I were you I'd sell 1 off and power 1 of them in the back with some bridged amps or something! you won't be sorry! it'll hit harder than any pair of 12's out there up to compition level subs! guaranteed! if you want to do that I'll buy the other 12 off of you so that I don't need to find another set of 8's or anything (seen as I don't think I'd even go with a pair of 10's, because that'll beat out any pair of 12's still) oh and the sq is preety killer on them too! expect big things from Resonant Engeneering (RE) they took home quite a few trophies in this last years show season and they're still growing! if you want more info on them then go HERE anyways if you wanna sell 1 I'll pick it up given it's not over priced or blown! hit me back!

yeah those are pretty sweet...my friend has one 12 and a la 1500 mono amp and he makes me sound like a biach.

def want to get a capacitor for that, esp with the crappy electrical system / alt that the coug sports

might want to dynamat / dead skin that whole trunk too

RE:Resonant Engineering xxx12?

yeah but one of their subs has more than twice the rms rating of one my subs

punch hx2: 2 ohm dvc 500w RMS / 1000w MAX

xxx12: 2 (or 1?!) ohm dvc 1600w RMS / 2500 MAX

safe to say if properly amped just one would put almost anyone to shame

p.s. you're gonna need one helluva amp to run just one of those bad boys...something
like this, and thats still 100w below
an xxx12's rms rating (although rf amps generally put out more power...check check the b
irth sheet)

RE:Resonant Engineering xxx12?

this amp could push one of them, so you would need two. That is the one I have and it pushes my 15" from elemental rated at 1200 rms.
