Re: Rear Speakers?

You will need to remove the rear door panels.

The majority of it is held on just by clips, but there are 2 are located under the sorry excuse for a handle thing (what people are supposed to grab onto to lift themselves out of the seats) - use a flat head screwdriver to pop the plastic cover off

I can't remember there being anything else to it... just pull carefully.

thanx for the info, what i'm trying to do is replace the amps that are located on the back of the rear seats, the only way i can take them out is from the inside of the car bending the rear seats.. here is a pic

Re: Rear Speakers?

thats confusing, why do you have to take out the rear speakers to change the amplifiers? I have amps mounted to both back seats. cant you just fold the seats down to get at them, or go in through the hatch.

"IIRC there are 1 or 2 torx screws at the base of the rear door panels hidden between the seat and pannel just pull on the side of the seat and you should see.

Re: Rear Speakers?

depending on what year you have it'll change 99-00 should have 2 torx screws under the gay handle plate and then 1 philips screw under the rear seat you will have to pull part of the corner up to see it and the other on is in the curved carpet thingy it's hard to see
01-02 should have 2 torx on the handle and one philips under the seat
