H10 foglight bulbs with Xenon look

Since I just got a new cougar which has Euro foglights (I believe they are H10) im looking to upgrade them to the blue/white xenon look. I have Philips Diamond Vision 5000K bulbs for my headlights right now which are also Euro style, Australian to be exact with the clear side markers. Which foglights do you think i should get that would most closely match my headlights?

Heres some options I found so far:
9145 (H10) Fog Lights LUKS Metal White Bulbs Upgrade
Luminics Ultra White SVT Lightning Foglight Bulbs
H10 Extreme white Xenon bulb (pair) *::*Specialist, Import & Pre 1970's Car Bulbs*::*Autobulbs Direct Ltd - Xenon bulbs, car bulbs, wiper blades, headlight, Osram, Ring, Philips
KYO Platinum White Halogen Bulbs (H10/9145)

Only the last one is listed as 5000K color temp which should match the headlights, but then again when it comes to "fake" HID looking bulbs you never know if those will be just pure white or have a hint of blue like my headlights. Has anyone ran into this dilemma before? I want my lights to match so I dont look dumb on the road. If I end up getting lights which are slightly different in color, well anyone could see I screwed up from a mile away ;p

Re: H10 foglight bulbs with Xenon look

Hah, apparently nobody cares. But I decided to go with one of each of these:
9145 (H10) Fog Lights LUKS Metal White Bulbs Upgrade
This one is 4200K and has blue colored glass, it might be close to my headlights.

H10 Extreme white Xenon bulb (pair) *::*Specialist, Import & Pre 1970's Car Bulbs*::*Autobulbs Direct Ltd - Xenon bulbs, car bulbs, wiper blades, headlight, Osram, Ring, Philips
and these are 4500K with a blue color to the glass as well, probably the closest match I will find.

Could not find any 5000K H10 bulbs except 1 pair which was "platinum white" so probably had no blueish hint at all and would not match my headlights at all. At least this thread may be good reference for someone in my situation in the future.

I've never heard of Euro Fog's but mine were H3's. I got the PIAA Plasma Yellow, they are bright as hell and yellower than need be.

Dude, you bought halogen bulbs. The bulbs you got aren't going to match your HIDS.

Re: H10 foglight bulbs with Xenon look

well my lights arent HID either, they are halogens at 5000K color, they are fake like my foglights ;p

but thing is they are still brighter than normal yelllow halogens and look better. im just trying to match my fogs to that color is all. BTW i have the european front and back bumpers thats why I should have the H10 foglights instead of the H3 which goes in the american ones, at least from what I read. ill be disappointed if it arrives and doesnt fit ;/

Can you take a few pictures of your bumper, fogs and the ballast? I didn't know there was a difference in bumpers. I knew the rear has the Europlate cut out instead of our NoAm plates.

Well 1 thing i notice on the US cougars with the cat-like mouth shaped front is the foglights are like sharp triangles. the euro ones fit the euro bumper more, which is like a |__/ shape i guess. Heres a picture I took a while ago but the lights are on, but you can still make out the shape if you download the image and view it in full size mode.

Re: H10 foglight bulbs with Xenon look

Thanks. since this picture i put aussie headlights in there so it has clear reflector instead of the orange and i got the US ones as backup pair in case anything happens in the future. also i changed the lowbeams to Philips Diamond Vision 5000K halogens, which are like pure white with a tiny hint of blue I think it most closely looks like those xenon lights you see on new cars. In fact I beleive philips even stopped selling them because I bet car companies complained to them they were selling a bulb which duplicated the look of their brand spanking new 2007/2008 cars with those new xenons. But you can still find them on some online stores. Right now im looking to install some 4500K foglight bulbs also I ordered some 4200K ones, and I will see which one most closely matches my headlights. But see I dont wanna get under the car, ugh what a stupid foglight design, I will have to buy a good car lift, jack it way up, take off the entire under-panel covering the botton front of the engine, just to be able to access the foglight compartment to change it. i wish they made it accessible from the outside somehow, like pop it in or a small hidden latch, anything but removing the entire bottom of the car :/
im dreading doing this but I will have to at some point if i wanna use my foglights since they are yellow right now, no way am i turning those on while my white/blue headlights are on.
