Only for people with installed HIDS in their Cougar please answer... I have done a lot of research online but still have some questions. When you guys installed HIDS in your cougar, did u need to go to the dealership and have them program "Xenon=Present" or did u just plug and play with them working fine, no strobing etc.. Also do our highbeams work if we put in low beam HIDS? Thanks, Devin

Depends on the kit you buy. If you retrofit your own your lows and Hi's should be in the same housing. This is illegal btw. The dealer has nothing to do with installing HID's into our cars. If you were to geta plug and play kit, you will keep your stock high beams. Quality relies on the manufacturer of the kit. I haven't noticed any strobing with mine. Occasionally they flicker but its nota constant. If thats what you are speaking of. |

no programming needed for mine. just plugged them in and everything fired up right away and haven't had a problem in the year i've had them on. the high beams aren't affected by the lowbeam hids since they are 2 seperate bulbs.

Same as all the other guys on here. I bought from flashplus on ebay, great seller, 3 days from the warehouse in china to KC. Work perfect and look great, and are at a really good price too. Highly recommend him. Nathan |

| King Jackass | Re: Hid's Just a word of caution, they can take a bit longer sometimes . . . I've heard up to three weeks from people. I think mine was like seven or eight days, so no complaints here. And they've worked extremely well on my Lincoln. Install was a piece of cake.

Unfortunatly I got a set of VVMEs for my high beams and the ones they sent didnt work at all. Now I have to send them back to China to get new ones. Every thing else I've heard about them was good though, I just seem to have the short end of the stick this time.

well I'm not buying online so I don't have to worry about shipping delays. I found a local seller. Thanks again for all the info guys!
