Re: Hid's

So basically my best option for night visibility would be HID lows and a set of nice bright driving lights, and there's not much benefit of making the high's HID's also.

Re: Hid's

2 reasons i made my brights HIDs
1. I have the silver star lows and my highs aren't any brighter than my lows.
2. Cops have been pulling people over around here for HIDs and they cant say anything about your brights being to bright.

Re: Hid's

I emailed vvme and they sold me a kit for 63.00 shipped. They were super fast to respond too. I ordered them tonight! I got the 8k kit thinking they would look the coolest but after reading all the replies I think Im going to be disapointed with my choice. I may end up ordering a different color spare bulb set. Ill see when I get them.

Re: Hid's

8k is the best one,i dont know y anyone wudnt like um but to me they look like stocks on european cars, there not too blue dont worry,8k is a light blue,10k is dark blue and 12k is purple, i think anything less then 8 wouldnt work well on projector headlights, cause no matter what tone you go with, projectors always minimize it. dont worry there gonna look great

Re: Hid's

8000K is good. I'll probably be getting those for my lows. I just wanted the brigtest ones for my highs so thats why I got the 4300K.

Please stop spreading misinformation around the forums, its highly irritating trying to go around correcting it. Most OEM HID's (with projectors by the way, despite what you insist) are 4300k temperature.

And again, I advise you read this book before you continue to post.

Our cars take the single beam. but some cars like an 02 mercury sable or an 06 Saturn Ion take the bi xenon. they use one bulb for high and low beam. so the dual bi xenon does the same for them.
