Question Rear Brake Back/Side Bulb

Hello,

I was trying to replace a couple lights that have gone out and as noobish as this sounds, I have no idea what the rear one is called. Specifically, I need to replace the rear driver side bulb for the area in the light housing the kind of wraps around the side of the car. It's that little triangle that I always assumed was nothing more than a reflector.

At first, I assumed it was the rear turn signal, but there's an obvious one of those. It can't be the rear brake since it comes on with the regular lights. I'm completely clueless what it's called.

Also, is there a tutorial on how I would replace that one? I might have missed it since I didn't even know what it was called when I searched.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

Runniing lamp or parking lamp. SHould be failry easy to reaplace. You should have to disconnect it when taking off the tail light. then twist and pull for the bulb to come out.

Re: Rear Brake Back/Side Bulb

Thanks LR! I don't mean to beat this to death, but if it's the parking lamp, then I'd be safe just buying a bulb with the number 3157NALL?

1999-2002 Bulb Identification

It's a '99 if that makes any difference. Unfortunately, in the manual it doesn't even provide a trade number for the parking lamps. But if I'm reading that right, it's the same as the front turn signals so that might be intentional.

Thanks again!

Thumbs up Re: Rear Brake Back/Side Bulb

Awesome! A big thanks! I was going to grab a bulb tonight and as soon as you mentioned "sidemarker", I took one that came with my smoke set and threw it in there - perfect fit.

Thanks again LR!
