ned help with my new alt

allright just got my 220 amp alt from db electrical with the 4 gauge wires and 250 amp fuse. Ive been doing some searching and havent found much on how I should run the wire I'm guessing I should run it behind the engine block???
what am I supposed to do with the stock wires??? if any one has pics they would really really help.

you replace the stock wire with the bigger one.

yes it runs upbehind block in the run that hangs off the back vavle cover and goes to starter then to battery, since youve got new 4 gauge wire i would just pull the old stuff out.
