Front fog lamps

Any guys know if European 2.0 Zetecs are prewired for the fog lamps which can be retro fitted to the front bumper. If not, any ideas how to wire. Assume relay and wiring to rear fog lights would do the trick with a couple of in line fuses for added protection.

I suspect that they car is already wired and the wires might be tucked up in the engine bay somewhere.

Just don't know where to look.

Re: Front fog lamps

what year model do you have? If its an 01-02 I have all the wiring ur need for the stock fog lamps. You could just buy the full kit that has the fog lights as well. The easiest way to tell if u alread have wiring for it I would think would be to trace all the wires back to your headlight switch inside the car.

Many thanks, it is a 99 model, but I am an electrical engineer and it is just as easy to make up a simple relay to operate the lamps and connect it the feed from the lighting switch, probably quicker anyway.

kind regards
