Re: Slanted box?

You had me scared there when I saw the recommended volume, then i realized that's not my model. Thats an MXZ model, I have an MXS model... But I did notice that mine says net volume aswell... Which would force me to assume that is without the subs.

Re: Slanted box?

Hmm... I guess my calculations were off. lol. It actually comes to 2.844cu/ft. Alright, vented it is!

I've been playing around with BassBox 6 Pro to determine the ports, i'm alittle lost, but lets see how things go after I poke around for awhile.

Re: Slanted box?

I've been tuning to 35hz because I heard that's a good point to aim for, is this true?

Found this too, for calculating slot ports which is what I would like to do... PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES

Re: Slanted box?

thank you for finally finding your own answer the the question.
you have to follow the math involved with ports. if its wrong and doesnt add up....then its wrong.

good job. hope it all makes sense

Well round .7496 up and you get .75, which is what the sealed enclosure is for a single woofer.
