Who has a double dinn in their cougar?

Can someone pleaseee tell me which double din can be fit in my 2002 cougar that will fit without having to mod anything? Price dosnt matter cuz im lookng for a kick ass one. thanks!

there isn't one (that anyone has spoken of yet). You'll have to modify the rear of the bezel.

Can you modify a 1999 bezel to fit a double din? or do you have to get a 01/02 bezel?

You'll need the 01/02. The outer edges of a 99/00 bezel are rounded instead of squared. Which would make the seating of the radio kit not fit correctly.

In addition to a 01/02 bezel, do i need anything else to fit a double din in a 1999?

Nothing else needed except maybe a dremel and some time. You'll need to cut out a bit of the back of the bezel. Bezels come up on ebay or the for sale section here periodiacally. You MIGHT still be able to order a new one as well throught the dealer.

I recently put a double din unit in my 02! it wasnt too hard but it did take time... and the use of a dremel!

also I did buy 2 of the dash kit required in case I messed the first one up which I didnt... so I do have a dash kit to make the install complete if youre interested in one!!! Its the same exact kit I used brand new and unopened!!!
