well I ordered the pioneer avhp4000 unit the other day and a new dash kit. It should arrive mid next week... (Im hoping) Hopfully install goes well and I will post picks!
Lostracer keep the spare 01-02 hvac ready haha. Customizing isnt one of my strong areas  Just thought I would update

Well I finally recieved my unit and got to instal it my last day off!
Very please with how it turned out and the overall look. Though it wasnt any where near as easy as I had hoped it would be.... but I did it... with me myself and a dremel!!! I dremeled quite a lot away from the top and bottom part of the hvac piece. It fit sooo tight this thing will prolly never come out! Included a few pics. In case youre wondering its the pioneer avh p4000dvd. Im really liking all of the different functions and controls I got the ipod adapter as well which is very cool. Enjoy oh and I bought 2 dash kits incase I skrewed up and I didnt so I have an extra dash kit if someone needs one. Its either a dual single din or a double din (the middle tab breaks away)

Woah! Is this the answer to my dreams? My dash kit keeps popping out. Used to be under hard accel or wheel hops, but now just daily driving. Does this dash kit actually bolt in somehow? Looks like it mounts on to the factory point.
