Post your audio system!

I was thinkin it would be pretty cool to have everyone post up the systems they are running in their coug. Maybe a list of what there is and SPL reading if they have been tested, maybe a couple pics.

mine is:

JVC KD-DV6200 -dvd player (no screen) with USB
Apline Type R 10" dual 2 OHM
Phoenix gold Xenon X400.1
Soundquest 1 farad Capacitor
4 ga. Rockford Fosgate wiring kit
Infinity Reference 5X7's up front
RCA 5X7's in the rear
Rockford Fosgate RF 2002 (front speakers)

All together it hits nicely and the bass doesnt drown out the speakers. I want to amplify the rear 5X7's sometime next summer.

since this pic was taken i mounted the sub normally, and its facing the back of the trunk now instead of up. i will try to get some updated pics soon.

what is everyone else running?!?!?

Re: Post your audio system!

hehheh, yeah, my current sound system is the sound of my engine/exhaust

Surprisingly, it did sound pretty great when I finally got it all working! (with huge help to Excelcier )

I really don't change it the equipment too often... those subs and amps are the same ones I've had since highschool, its just the layout that has been changed over the years. for 2 years I had 2x12 and 2amps, then I got into the whole car show scene for 2 years, and the audio was the only thing that needed to be stepped up.
After a while though, I became really jaded about the shows and the so called "fellow enthusiasts" So I started semi looking for anyone with interest in buying stuff.... I wouldn't have touched it if i hadn't found another cougar owner to take the entire setup, but someone did! and then someone else picked up the Screen and Headunit.

next year its back to a more realistic setup... something i could like... REMOVE if i had to. That stuff took nearly 2 afternoons to take out!

Re: Post your audio system!

Here's my trunk set up....custom made to fit the curves of the back. Amp is mounted behind plastic and also has a blue neon along the bottom behind plastic.
