In my sealed trunk in my last car I did a 137db on the termlab with this gear. In a hatch I should do better.
Took a couple crappy pics with my phone last night...

If you use a 3/4" MDF baffle board for the front and then mold into the side cavity with attached chicken wire, you can put a layer of glass over the wire and then remove the wire and finish from the inside for a custom fit. I did fluid measurement (filling the box with water after completion) and the total volume supplied by this side is just around 0.7 cu ft. Fill it with fiber fill and get a low vol sub and your good to go. My main issue was that I needed to be able to haul an 8x10 bass guitar cab in the trunk which barely fits with the seats down (goes all the way to the drivers seat) and couldn't sacrifice any usable space. And yes, thats a thundercats logo, not cougar but I liked it better.
How do you change your tail lights? The first time I looked in the trunk of my car I thought of this exact same thing. BTW, the Tundercats logo is a winner, I also thought the same thing when I really looked at the Cougar logo real good.

great minds...

Re: Post your audio system!

For those of you using multiple amps - do your headunits support this or do you wire all of the amps (remote, output etc) in series?

I really like the setups of 1802 and NeverSatisfied - everyone is bumpin!

Re: Post your audio system!

I have separate outputs for each amp, i like having full control of everything including crossover points from the headunit

Re: Post your audio system!

No problem changing the lights. The box is secured by friction. It's a tight fit and I placed rubber shims around the top (behind where the carpet is tucked in) and it has stayed in place for the past 4 years without ever bumping loose.
