Fiberglassing my trunk.

Don't be fooled by the size and space, it does hit +150db on the SPL scale... And all the space for some grocery shopping.

to be honest with you its some off brand amp that ive never heard of but it does a damn good job powering the system and way better than the one i had before i had an amp that was suposively running "4000w" peak made by legacy which pretty much explains it all. that amp couldnt hit 4000 watts if it was struck by lightning

Re: Post your audio system!

oh by the way check your cubic air space of the box cuz its probibly a good bit under my 15"s are half a cubic foot under and my box basically takes up my entire trunk and once you get it all set up right it hits like crazy.

When i pulled into the gas station the other day my friends said he could hear the sheet metal on the roof vibrating

Re: Post your audio system!

Project FREE system

Alpine CDA-9853 MP3 CD player
JL 12 inch W0 sub in single low profile box
Rockford Fosgate 360a2 Amplifier
Kenwood door speakers (dont know the model number, they came in the car )

I think I need a different headunit, but overall the sound quality is above average. a better headunit would make this system sound really nice.

Re: Post your audio system!

Ahah damn, why did I miss when the guy posted pics of the particle board box... Damn work, pulling me away from laughing at people on the Interwebs.

Agreed. My 2 12's take the majority of the back of my Yukon -- those L7's are STARVING, but that doesn't matter much when you used wood that was only 1/2 the required thickness, and the total wrong material for compression-based applications. When I measured the cuft in the Cougar I came up with around 6.5 cuft of usable space (that was with my ST-200) -- that box has GOT to be about 1 cuft per sub, laughable.
