oh well, lets get this thread back on topic...

...so I may be buying subs here in the NEAR future, maybe within the next month. Once they're all hooked up, I'll post some pictures and specs of what I decided to get.

im pretty sure you cant place one under any of the seats. at least not that one you have. even if you could though it sucks man. I had it like that in my tacoma and it overheated way more.

Re: Post your audio system!

update on my system. I took out the type R in favor of 2 phoenix gold Octane R 12" DVC 4 ohm subs. figured it would be cool to match brand names of amp and sub plus they were a great price and sound better.

Re: Post your audio system!

this is a little off topic, but ive noticed alot of ppl mounting their amps on their sub box, i always thought this wasnt really the best idea, i mean all that vibration cant bee good for all the intricate circutry in there, thats why i put em both on the back of my seats.
im sure it cant hurt the amp too bad, just wondering on opinions about this

BTW, there are some NICE JL setups here

I've heard the same regarding mounting your amps to your speaker box.

Re: Post your audio system!

Well, as someone who had them mounted on a rack directly infront of 4 12" subs... After 2 years, I would have thought something would have happened, but I can report that I never had any problems - but then again, I rarely had it that loud.
