Re: Post your audio system!

Nothing for the goat Dan?

btw.. I just took my sub out since I needed some more trunk space for a while. Damn is that thing heavy. It's amazing how weight can make a difference on the way your car drives.

Re: Post your audio system!

The trunk is next to non-existent in the GTO, you would expect it to to be larger then it is based upon the size of the GTO, but they push the fuel tank up into the body of the car and there is a rear brace that is covered by a carpeted wall. See pic below for reference. Even though the factory stereo system has two subs (really mid-bass) its not that fantastic. Sound quality is alright, but it doesn't have enough umpf. With very mild modification I can replace the factory subs with two Kicker 8" free air subs, which I will probably do when I can afford to replace all of the speakers and head unit.

Re: Post your audio system!

Wow. I never knew the trunks were so small. I guess I thought it was more like a grand prix... no offense. Gto >>> GP.

That's what I was going for though. Nothing too crazy. My bass is normally cranked pretty low unless I'm in the mood for it, lol.

Re: Post your audio system!

Nothing huge but I do have an Orion 2500d and Orion 8004 underneath the sub in the enclosure I built. I like it this way because I actually still have trunkspace!

Very simple, very clean. Two 10" Kicker CVR's with power via a 1000w Distinct Audio Amp.
