I need your opinion on tint selection.
i would like to get the 2 rear and the hatch tinted dark and the driver and p side windows in lighter tint...
what would be the best combination for this?

depends on your interior.... if u have a blacked out interior you dont need DArk dark tints... id go with 20 in back and 35 in front

I had 20% on the back and 35% (legal) on the fronts.

I've been looking to get my windows tinted, generally what have you guys paid for the job?

Mine was done a couple years ago, but paid $250.
Just had the front windows redone in 20% and it was about $100 for both.

I don't think in this case it is about what one "needs" it's more what they want.....I have 5% on the back and rear windows and 15% on the doors, and it has nothing to do with what my interior is like....it was what I wanted.

i've always used 2% in the back. where i'm from, u can't have any tint in the front tho

i have 20% all around, i paid $200 for it.
i dislike it tho, i want to get it redone 5% all around, which i wanted to begin with but the guy is like 5% will look so dark youll get pulled over to fast so i went with 20% and i've been kicking myself ever since.

its got nothing to do with my interior. i just want my car to have a tinted look, but darker in the hatch window and the rear 2 windows.
so, with 20 % in the hatch window... can you guys still see of them at night?

not really - unless there's a light on inside the car.

i love 20% all the way around the cougar, local trooper didnt tho...
oops, typo... i meant can you still see out of the hatch window at night(at 20 percent)? for example, to back up and using the rear view mirror...

I paid $145, $250 is an outragous amount for tint, in my area at least (same region as you momo). BTW, that is an OLD picture of my car.
