I'm going to be up in Chicago this weekend installing my suspension stuff, so I (and my spring compressors) won't be available. You should be able to rent them from Autozone though. It is really cheap, I think it cost like a buck for Steve to rent the crank pulley puller and I'd expect spring compressors to be similar.

I've never rented anything from Autozone, but I was under the impression they just charged a deposit which is refunded when the tool is returned.

Yeah, but you're charged sales tax on the deposit, and that doesn't get refunded. In then end it costs you a buck or so, depending on the deposit amount.

Ah, gotcha. Thats still pretty reasonable. Even a member of TEAM: $27.34 RICING could afford that!

why do yo need a spring compressor to install that stuff? does the camber plate have a piece that goes on top of the strut?

The camber plates replace the front strut mounts, so you need to take apart the front strut assembly to install them.

There was a fire incident at Steveapalooza 2, and he got burned on his neck and chest. I just saw him last night and it looks like it is healing up nicely. He said there were still two small spot which haven't quite healed yet, but the rest is pretty much OK now.
