I am very fair with the things I sell. Most of the time I sell it for DIRT cheap. I have paid TOP dollar for a few things from fellow NECO'ers, I think its safe to say my price was very reasonable considering what the groupbuy is going for and the availability at this time.

Same here, I bought mine for a mini-me.

Keep in mind, this is just the buy for the body, you still need the actual car. If you're not a serious RC racer, I suggest just getting the simple / basic HPI Dash car. It's around $100 with tires, remote, battery and has very little you can modify and has no upgrade options except changing the body and the rims basically.

Just scope around on Ebay for the HPI 200mm cars. I got mine with a spare battery and a BMW body ( #954 in the ad above ) for $80.

the last body was not even sold untill trursday. additionaly up untill yesturday i would have been out almost $200. Inaddition, i have had a very hard time contacting some of the buyers. so i didnt want to have like 10 bodies sitting around my house. Also, i dont have a steady income right now, i have been off work for two weeks with an injury, and neither the aflac checks or the workers comp checks have come in. and since i havent been off work you could say in the last two weeks i have lost almost two thousand dollars. Furthermore, not only am i not making a profit on theese, i am loosing money on them. hpi is charging $20/body--i am charging you $20/body hpi is chagring me $50 to ship them to my house (none of that was transferd to you) post office is chaging 8.95 to ship them/ i am charging you $8.95. now add in the pay pal fees i was charged: $28.79, so this group buy has cost me $78.79. Inconclusion, please wait patiently untill cougarpimp916's check clears. if you need more money simply sell you hpi body that you got for $17 shipped and are trying to sell for $25, or just get a job.

Its not a big deal to me. I don't even have the car to put these on, so it gets to me when it gets to me.

Have you tried other methods of shipment? It looks like you are doing the flat rate shipping through USPS, but you may be able to save a few bucks shipping it one of the other ways.

I meant through the post office. 8.95 is the flat rate shipping which they charge for any weight box that is within certain dimentions. You can also chip things where they charge baised on weight and zipe codes. Since the shells are soooooo lite, it may be a little cheaper if you send it one of the other ways through the USPS. Just ask what is the cheapest way when you drop them off at the post office. You may be able to break even on the deal if you can save a little on shipping. :biggrin:

its in the manufacturers hands now. nows the time to be patient. an order of 30 cars is pretty small [actually its the minimum] so we are not their highest priority... just a friendly reminder.

also I think alot of us on the list are purchasing them not because we own R/C cars now but because its cougar paraphenalia. I'm sure a good number of us would not have a problem consolidating our shipping so you saleen arent taking a financial hit for organizing this.
