I finally got pissed about not having a good front cup-holder. (I have the crappy cup-spiller design.) So I took a day to make up a cup-holder and install it. Turned out alright for one day! This is about the only place I could find to make a cup-holder and not have it in the way of something. Works nicely! I used a textured spraypaint on it, thats why it looks weird.

I made it out of fiberglass. The second pic is me sitting in the car. I was trying to show the clearance of the cupholder. My leg isn't close to it at all. And I have it angled slightly inwards so that big bottles/cups do not hit the speaker grill.

I would put carpet over the bottom half of it... to continue the carpet line, maybe a little paint? will look much nicer then, but a good DIY project!

Wow, uh, good work I guess, but it looks like poop IMO.

Lol. I know it doesn't look the best, but I was going for functionality. It isn't finished. I just wanted a temporary one that would work because I will be doing quite a bit of driving in the next month! I will definately fiberglass it into the door panel and carpet it to match in the near future!
I will also be putting on a nice trim ring around the top...

just don't leave ur drink in the door when u shut it. i had a bonneville with holders in tha doors, and if u shut the door without takin' the can out, it splashes everywhere.
