Ok my damn cosmo shifter broke so i was gonna slap the old one back in but im sure im gonna break that damn retaining clip on the left side....u know the one that always breaks....SOOOO I went to the stealership and the dont have a part number for it...I also asked for a focus cause I heard they were the same but with no luck...HELP! I want my are to shift out of first!!!!!

Yeah...ask him maybe.
That might not be true either...I just remembered hearing that - that you can buy just the clip for the Focus, but not for the Cougar.
