I was just trolling around today when a friend sent me this link still thinking I had the cougar. I figured I would share it. I'm not sure how well it would work and since I dont have the coug any more I wont have the chance to try it out. Shiftronic (http://www.levelten.com/store/ford/items/electronics/ford_shiftronic.htm)

woa there woa there..... i didnt not get this installed. i do have the level ten shift kit but i had no idea they even offered the shiftronic feature for our cars... The link isnt really to detailed but from what i can tell it seems like this will not be a convention system linked to the shifter. Probally just 2 buttoms that you would have to wire up to the ecu.. much more like the paddle shift(steering wheel mounted).. This is a really really good idea, but the question is will it make the slushbox shift better? If someone could give me some deffinate answers on this product ill will definetly purchase it.
