looks like i am gonna need to drive to Sears point to meet you once....I wonder how long of a drive it is from Los Angeles? My best 60ft time so far has been 2.29...It would be cool to see how my car runs compared to yours at the same track...since i have the MSDS headers, i would think that i could shave some time off your best...maybe even crack 14.99 seconds in the 1/4 mile....
Did you run with the 17's on up front, or did you put the stock rims/tires back on?

I ran with my stock 15's on all four tires.
Man I would love to drop my 60 ft. times to closer to yours. When you ran the 2.29, was it with the stock tires? Also on what psi you dropped to and what rpm you launched at.
I think the drive up from L.A. should be around 8 hours!! haha! But I should be in the SoCal area again sometime in August/September so maybe I'll run with you guys?!
Yeah, it would be cool if I could run with another cougar. I swear no one else in Northern California is racing their cats?!
I will be going back this Wednesday so I'll keep you guys posted. I promise at least a 15.39!!

I was running on 20psi on the front tires and launched at the same RPM you did just slipping the clutch for a split second to get moving then dropping it the rest of way out. If i can get my 60ft times down to 2.25 that will be sweet...i dont think that i can get much lower than that without further suspension mods or other tricks.....
Nikolas
P.S. turn on your Private Messaging so i can send you messages and make sure you get them.... plus i just think it is a cool feature anyways and everyone should have it on....

Nice run!
At Sears Point, is a perfect reaction time a .000 or .500?

Thanks!!
Sears Point, a perfect reaction is .500
I was consistant with the .6's for all of the runs.

Yup,
Sears Point is wayyyyyy too far for me to drive there...it is past San Fran....if it was below San Fran, then that might be an idea..... I will just have to go to Bakersfield and Carlsbad to get sea level times so i can compare to the rest of you guys......

Yeah, Sears Point is about 45 min. North of S.F. Kinda cool for me though cuz I'm about 10 min. away from the track!
Hey, I'm willing to make a drive to Bakersfield, even though it's about 3 hours away. Not before I get my headers though!! I should be picking them up when my tax-return comes in. Then we'll show them what some all motor cougars can run!! ...hmmm....14.99!!!
