I was about to book my room online when I noticed that if you have AAA, the room rate may be lower. Does someone has a AAA number we could use to book with to see if we can get a lower rate online?

I would seriously consider getting a room. Two years ago i decided to not get a room and just drive home afterwards. Bad idea! On the way home i was falling asleep from being so wore out and tired. And remember i live 20 mins from the park. Of course, i had been awake since 9:30pm the night before at the time. So i was awake for more than 24 hours by the time i went home. Even still, last year i was also very tired. I could barely stay awake when we attempted to converge into one room and just sit and bull****.

I drove back to Columbus on Saturday night as well in 2004, and it DOES TRULY SUCK. I'm planning on staying this year. It's totally worth it to not be tortured for 2-3 hours, after midnight, in traffic.

If the weather sucks, like it's supposed to...we...go have a good time in Cedar Point! Ron and I went with Brad a few years back, last weekend in October..it was fricken freezing, raining, super windy, 1/2 the coasters weren't running...and we had blast! The arcade is still there, the shops..FOOD...snacks...beer tent thingy..haunted houses...lots of pictures of us doing stupid things.... It's about the company you share, not so much, what you are doing.

As a tip though..bring an extra pair of shoes, just in case. :)

See everybody there, in some kind of NECO shirt at the top of their several layers! :)
