does anyone know if any year cougar came with metal door sills? someone had some for sale a long time ago that had a cougar head stamped into them, i think they were aluminum. i have a '99 that only has some same paper feeling rubber as a door sill, i would really like to find the aluminum ones. i searched for the for sale thread that had them in it, but apparently it was a very old one and has been deleted. if anyone knows anything about these let me know.

I have a 99 with the silver/chrome ones with the cougar head on them.
I looked really quick on ebay and there are some there if you search for "cougar sill"... didnt look to see if they were the cougar head ones though

i was on ebay about an hour ago and didnt see them. i wasnt looking for them then so i may have over looked them. ill go take a look. thanks.
EDIT: they only have cougar written on them. tagliente, can you take a look at yours when you have a chance and see if theres any type of part number stamp onto them? you dont have to remove them or anything just look at the visible part and see if theres any number. id really appreciate it.

i have a set of those cougar head ones on my 02 XR. i have momo door sills as replacements so if you want to buy them from me i can take them off and sell them to you. they are aluminum with the cougar head.

I don't recall seeing a part number, but I will check for one tomorrow morning before I go to work.

They were part of the sport package on 01-02 cougars.

I have them on my 99, they came that way from the factory on sport package cougs. BTW Bat inc sells the ford ones.
