View Full Version : AC able to stay in the car when pulling engine?

alright this is for all involved in brads pull. did it seem possible to leve the AC equiptment in th car when pulling the engine and trans together? I am about 1/2 way maybe a little more or less o being ready to pull this bad boy out of the cougar but woudl like to leave all AC stuff intackt if possible to save the small amount of money it would take to refill the system (and save yself from blowing feon off in my face.. so mbasicl is this doable or shoudl i just dump the feon and yak it all off....?

According to the service manual the A/c is to stay in the car, just undo the brackets and strap that puppy into place out of the way.

thanx ya i looked through my ford tech CD again after posting this see that i can leave it in there... so i guess i try to get everything else done by like wednesday and see when i cang et time to have my roommates help and anyone else that would like to assist and do the actual pulling. Just want everythin disconnected before doing the actual pulling.
