Thanks for the "welcome home". I would like to have a meet soon if that is alright with everyone. I only know a few people from Maryland NECO and I would like to meet everyone I can. Saturday the 19th would be great, if not Saturday the 26th. Im up for suggestions for the meet, also I would like to have it close to where I live because I just drove 2600 miles from AZ. Plus Im still trying to relearn my way around the area. Hope to see y'all soon.

I'm working until 4:30 this Saturday (the 19th) in Annapolis, and until 12:00 next (the 26th). I'm still up for something on either day after I get out of work though. :)
Saturday evenings are the Lost in the 50's gatherings we've talked about a couple of times at The Glen Burnie Mall.
In the Glen Burnie area we have the following restaurants: Ruby Tuesday's (2), Rocky Run, Carraba's, Texas Roadhouse, Outback, Bennigan's, Honey Bee Diner, Double T Diner, Cactus Willie's Buffet, Ledo Pizza, Hunan Buffet Chinese, Pizza Hut, BoneFish Grill, The Olive Tree (like the Olive Garden), and of course your normal fast food places. :biggrin:
There are 2 movie theaters, if we want to go that route also...

Curious....I think there is a pool hall called sports 2000 or something like that in Glen Burnie. does anyone know??

I haven't heard of Sports 2000... Google has a Sports 2000 in Dundalk - North Point Blvd. That's the other side of the Key Bridge.
I know there are 2 Star Billiards, a Jack & Jills and a couple others close by. Jack & Jills can get rough at night, I wouldn't want to leave all of the cars out there together for an extended period of time, I've seen people trash things and vandalize nice cars. :( There is a fairly large pool hall on Mountain Road that doesn't have a whole lot of trouble, if that's something we want to do, it would be a good place. :biggrin:

either or, my car is o nthe fritz again... so yea, im over in the audio electrical forum trying to fin out y i dont have lowbeams/high beams or lights in the cluster and hvac all of a sudden........ Ne ideas?
Did you ever get the reverse light thing fixed? Might be some wires crossed somewhere?? Check all the wires that you touched putting in your sub and see if any of them are touching or shorted out. Good luck G! :goofy:

Okay, 2:00 Saturday at Glen Burnie Mall.
6711 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, 21061
Meet in lot closest to route 2 in front of Best Buy (can be seen from route 2)
Directions can vary based on location, so I'll do a few general ones. If you need more specific information, let me know.
From the Baltimore Beltway:
Route 2 South exit (#3b)
Pass light for MVA (MVA on left)
Pass Next light (Ordnance Rd)
Glen Burnie Mall is on Route 2 N (ON LEFT), Turn left into parking lot at light.
Turn left in parking lot, towards Best Buy, we'll be on your left.
From Annapolis, Severna Park, Other Points South
Route 2 North. That's really about it... :rofl:
Go through Arnold, Severna Park, Pasadena and most of Glen Burnie.
Turn right into mall parking lot
OR
97 North to exit # 15A (Dorsey Road E aka 176)
Dorsey Road becomes 8th ave.
8th ave dead ends into route 2
Turn left onto Route 2 North
Follow 2 north, turn right into mall parking lot
OR
Route 100 to Route 2 North exit
Follow 2 North through Pasadena, Glen Burnie.
Turn right into mall.
Issues, call me and I'll walk you through it. :)

P.S. My life is pretty much booked solid through mid October so I don't think I'll be able to make it to any meets but it's cool to know you all are still having them. :)
Josh, if that's too far then it's too far for me to drive to Rockville. :) It goes both ways here. But I can understand the car being in pieces...
Krissi, maybe you (and Rob) will be able to make another meet soon. I'm glad to see that you're still around and have the cougar (s?).

Well the car is halfway clean (will rain for sure tonight) and the directions are printed so if nothing changes will be in bmore tom sometime :)

Sorry I didn't make it guys. I didn't get out of the DMV from *trying* to register the Mini until almost 7. I didn't have everything I needed, so I gotta go BACK this week! :banghead:

In this area, we see plates from all over North America all the time - even Hawaii and Guam. So, out of state license plates don't draw nearly as much attention here as they do in most areas.
The reason is that a huge percentage of the people working in the DC area are from other areas and are here just temporarily or never change their registration. I'm always a little surprised when I meet someone that's actually from the DC area - almost everyone I know comes from somewhere else.
The Hawaii plates always make me do a double take... :rofl:
I seem to see a lot of Ohio, Florida, and Indiana plates lately (in addittion to the normal DC, DE, PA, VA plates that don't even register as "different" anymore). :shrug:
We do look at his car funny though... :goofy: But not for much longer! ;)

Yeah, the Hawaii and Guam plates always get me thinking about shipping a car and whether it's really worth it. I guess it's not that expensive, or at least it's cheaper than selling and buying a car.
