ever since being down in NorCal, I'm getting a little power steering sounding squeal when pulling out of a parking space with the wheel cranked all the way to one side (and dont know if it's one direction or the others).
Anyone have thoughts on if hitting some hard bumps could break something in the suspension or PS that would do that?

check your fluids
++

Temperature differences can do funny things to fluids. Same thing with multiple elevation changes.

I had just had an oil change the day before I drove down - and know it was topped off then - but will check the level tomorrow morning.

Needs a matching ground effects on the sides and the LP removed.

Digital Pictures do justice to my car's front end. It didnt help any that some dickwad damaged my rearfender by pulling out of a space to shallowly and took off some paint.

Last I remember from your place up here was that the only seats were the kitchen counters, when the couch and futon were full. :tongue:

my car does the same thing for about a minute after startup on a cold morning. i never knew what the problem was but extreme temperatures and something in the power steering makes sense. the worst sound happens whens backing out of a slanted driveway and turning into the road. the sound is not really a squeal but more of a high pitched loud hum. hope this helps.

mine did that exact thing you are talking about for about a year - maybe 2 or 3 years ago... then it just went away. this was def a different thing and sounded almost like a metal on metal squeal

Goldie
