Sept LAN Party?

Matt and Sami are going to be in town sometime, so I'm throwing out Sept 2nd as a possible date.

My only question is about a monitor... sure, i could bring my 15" lcd, but man... i'm coming from Ottawa, and for 3 weeks... I would hate to lug the tower/mouse/keyboard/monitor/cables around for all that time.

Could we maybe work something out with a spare monitor?

Oh I'm down for a total ass whoopin on behalf of all you fraggin gamers, just as long as we get some counter strike action in there. I run about 100 fps in CS the last time I checked. NO HACKING. I'll surely miss my 32 in flat screen but my 17" crt will do fine.

Quite a number of us have DualSLI rigs that'll be there, me included. ;) I usually end up with insane FPS now that I've got the drivers tweaked. I'm running Dual BFG 7800GTX OC's, each with 512MB of VRAM. New cards/mb are on their way from the supplier, as well, so hopefully I'll have the QuadSLI system running by the party, with brand new Nvidia reference cards. :D

And I'll just be bringing the little 19" flatpanel, I'm not lugging my big one around, even if it is just up the street.

Anyways, if it's on the Labor day weekend, Sami won't be hear. he's coming in strictly for Hamillfest so I doubt he'll have time get to Brad's for a LAN party.

Either way, I'M IN AS ALWAYS! LAN PARTY IN THE BARN... hopefully the weather will cooperate for this attempt.

I've got an extra 17" (usually reserved for Ron) and my renter has an extra 21" and an extra 15" (if you can stand that). I know John has two LCD's so the canadian folk should be covered against having to lug monitors along.

Lisa #1 has approved this event so now it's official.

I have a spare 19" -- but I've still been lazy and haven't taken it in for replacement, since its the one that got nuked when the lightning struck the house, so that one is out.
