I have been looking like crazy to find somewhere near me that can do an amazing custom paint job. Looking for somewhere that is going to be able to give me a completely unique look with and can provide me with lots of color ideas and options. The internet has so far failed me in my search for this. Even wrote to James to ask about the paint job he had done that was orange (so nice!) but haven't heard back from him so he must be swamped. I'm in Silver Spring...any thoughts anyone? Thanks!

I'll be posting this question in in the Capital forum too so apologies for repeated viewings to those who frequent both.

Well you can speak to Fred at C&F in Severn. 410-969-4950. His quote may be more expensive than what you might be looking for but the work is great. If anything you might want to look at luxury vehicle OEM car colors such as BMW, Lexus, etc. Ususally those have some sort of special metallic color or pearl color in the paint.

Hey Krissi, glad to see you're still around and have the cougar! :)
I'll second the C&F opinion, he's great. I don't know if he'll be able to do much with showing you colors other than to show you his paint books though.

I doubt you'll get ahold of James, he's been pretty busy with his new business (ProMotionTuning). I know that the yellow was done by Troy who changes shops more than most of us change... errr nevermind... I wouldn't recommend trying to find him, but if you do check on James's car since it's been there for like 2 years supposedly getting worked on.

Do you have any idea what colors you're interested in or are you totally open to anything? We've got a photoshop section now under the vids/pics option. If you have any ideas, I'm sure some of the people who are good with photoshop would be happy to help you work on the details!!

Good Luck! I hope to see it when you get it all finished!!

I've already had my share of fun with Troy and would like to try someone without the vicious dogs  Hehe...he actually did a good job, but as you said jumps around.
Basically I don't want anything you're going to find stock on any car sold. Something wild. I was thinking orange...bright orange with some pearl added...I like the pearl look added to paint jobs I've seen. Maybe even a lime green. I just want it to look really good and professional. In fact I should just go hunt down this guy who's car is always parked at the Best Buy near me and see who did his paint job...I'm always admiring his paint job it's a dark purple pearl on a Mustang...very nice.

 I'm sure it's a possibility. He could probably come up with something fairly close.
What color are your nails?
