Got my recall notice...

Recall notice for the "misrouted battery cable, and/or loose connection at the alternator B+ stud" i/expressions/eek.gif arrived in the mail today. It's recall number 01S02.

I guess I'll be taking it in to the dealer next week.

I got my recall on Friday....but mine has two safety recalls

#01S02 is for the misrouted battery cable

#01S03 is for the terminals on the brake lamp switch harness which
can overheat i/expressions/eek.gif

Did you guys get both recalls or just the one???

BTW I phoned McAlpine Ford in Aurora, and they don't even have
the parts yet! i/expressions/eyes.gif

I was told to phone back next week....geeez i/expressions/ohwell.gif

I just got the one for the battery cable. Sorry for the late reply - I've been out of the country for a week (a week in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, yeah, baby!)

My car goes into the dealer on Tuesday, for the recall, the 15K service and a couple of minor warranty items - squealing rear brakes during low speed stops (happens very occasionally), driver's side window squeaks during operation, and sunroof groans during operation (these two only happen during warmer temps. - probably just need lubrication).

Let you know how it goes.

Anyone have experience with Meadowvale Ford in Mississauga? How's there service work? Do they make an issue with mods? I've only had my car in there once before (no mods at that time).
