I also noticed my car has been running hot as in the oil meter is almost to redline. The car has been driving beutifully I have no idea whats going on. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Go to an auto parts store, like AUtozone or Advanced Auto, and have them scan the OBDII port for the check engine light...write down the code and post it here, and we can try and help you better...
The Temperature Guage that you are reading on the dash is probably the Coolant system, not the oil... keep an eye on it, but it should be in the middle pointing straight up...if it moves towards too hot, your thermostat could be faulty or the fans aren't turning on when they are supposed to be, which could mean a burnt fuse or blown relay for the fans...
Find out the Check engine light first and post it here...
And welcome to NECO!!:)

That's the car you bought in NJ??
Bring the car to a mechanic, and have the cooling system checked. You don't want to be overheating that car already...
Good luck...

Drive it to florida and back, if it makes it then you have no problems.

dude if you just bought it> you should be pissed at whoever sold it to you. This is not a normal issue.
