The Cars:
1999 Cougar 130k Miles
2001 Honda Prelude 23k Miles

11:45am

Getting onto I-270 to head to work, I noticed this blue Prelude and can only think its my friends. I speed up to catch a glimpse at the driver, it is him. We nod heads and I slowly creep away, then he catches up and looks back at me. I throw it into 3rd to see his face light up to the sound of my exhaust. He downshifts trying to keep up, and is consistantly creeping away from me. I cut it off at 100mph, there was no point to keep it going. He whizzed by me.

11:55am

I pull into a parking spot at work. He parks next to me and immediately says "Ok, what did you do the engine now Brett?" I laughed. He was impressed, and said my car sounds awesome from the rear and at high RPM's.

Not much of a story, but its always fun to burn a co-worker/friend who consistantly says "Your cars got nothing to my V-Tech." Well...he saw what a Duratec can do.

Haha, I just have a good chunk of money and wanted to put it to good use.

Today I completed the setup with my SVT TB, and it put all my current mods to complete use. I cannot believe the power difference, wow.

Haha, Chris the first day I met you had my exhaust done ;)

When Andy and I were installing the TB last night, I said to him "Ya know, 2 months ago I met you and had nothing. Now we are finishing up."

It really is kinda crazy how much I've gotten done on this thing.

dammit! now your getting me even more excited to install my SVT stuff...I got a TB but im still waiting for the UIM and LIM :banghead: its driving me nuts!! I'm tempted just to put in the TB for now, but I kinda want to do it all in one shot so I can do it all while I'm at it and so theres a bigger difference

Thanks man! I definately made sure I was going the right path with it all. My cars got 130k miles on it now, so I dont really like to push it often. I constantly think my engine makes funny noises at times, but I know I need to change my oil.

Mainly it was done to get the best out of my engine, and knowing its breathing the best it can.

I appreciate all your praises. 99mcougar, the TB made the biggest difference out of everything. If you have it, install it, but I also understand the wanting to wait for you to get everything before doing that venture.
