I intend on getting a new SVT clutch and pressure plate for my CSVT within the next few weeks, but I have one question... Are the Stock Cougar Pressure plates that much different from the SVT ones? I'm guessing the spring and tension of the Pressure plates are stronger for the SVT ??

And could I resurface an older SVT Pressure plate with 100k, or would that be too worn out for a new SVT Clutch Disc ???

I can already see what the responses are going to be like, but I'd like to hear honest opinions first... Thanks!

the SVt has slightly more clamping presure, I would replace the old one better safe than sorry, and they are so damn cheap through teamfordparts

Yeah, I know, its only like $250 shipped for both the clutch and the plate...

I should get new anyway, since I'm mating them to a new Fidanza flywheel on a low mileage (30k) SVT motor.... just thought I'd ask!:)
