OK where can I get new sets of Struts w/o paying a testicle? Hoping $200 or less for all four.
I'm needing to get it done cause there wearing because it's starting to squeck when bouncing & I'd like to get the damn coilovers on now that Brian showed me such a pain in the a$$ they are to install! :(

i dont think your gonna get all 4 for under 200. i did a quick online search and it looks like you can get a set from autozone for around 260$ and oreilly for around the same. dont know how good they are but im sure they are oem replacement so it should ride ok. told ya those coilovers were a PITA..lol

Yea Brian showed me on his rear strut from the cougar. I pulled a coilover out & when he tried to slide it onto the strut it hit by a hair. So he showed me that I need to basically shave the black peice of metal so it would slide down onto the strut. Then to cut the sleave I believe so that you can do the adjustment height on the coilovers. Does that sound right?
$260 huh...I guess I need a new job to get'em

No sh!t! How are these with handling? I wouldn't be doing it for show but for a better adjustable suspension for track use... let me know and you might have a buyer... $1,000 cash up front and we'll have a mod meet ;)
I know I rode in it, but I believe we were really low to begin with I just don't really remember the ride

well the insurance thus far are deuchebags, therefore i plan to part the car out. if you want them john then they are yours. i recall you calling dibs last thursday.
i'll let you guys know the final plan this weekend or monday.
and to answer your question. they aren't bad for handling. the setup could use some work. but if i install it, i can work with and make it more reliable than it is now. if you want to keep your sway bars then it'll handle great. just don't 3 wheel with sway bars....then tend to snap.
its a real steal for 1g.
