i bought this alpine type r model number SWR-1242D with the intentions of building up a system but plans changed and now i dont need it taking up space.
specs-
4 ohms
1500 watts peak power
500 watts RMS
it has never been used and only taken out the box to see it and make sure its all ok, which it appears so.
these subs retail for about 240$ once tax is totalled in. im looking for 200$ OBO. shipped.

OBO usually means within 10 - 20% of the selling price.. not almost half
and also you said they retail for around $240.00

yeah why would u buy from best buy... worst deals ever. (period)
but it is a good sub... my friend has 2 of em and they sound great

Maybe when can get this post back on track and try to follow the rules.
• No bashing sellers threads or items. For example: "I can get that at best buy for this much money", or "Your asking way too much for that item". Those are big no-no's and will get you strikes automatically.
• No off topic chit chat. I know non-related car items can be talked about alot like DVD's and such but if your going to post, just post to ask questions about product(condition, quality, price, etc.).
I don't see a problem with pointing out that they are offered cheaper other places...maybe the seller was not aware of those and only knew what he paid and what they are still selling for at Best Buy in this case.....If you want to buy the item and you think the price is to high...send him a PM with an offer.:thumbsup:

1) Thats a good deal
2) Best buy Will price match find a better deal somewhere and they will beat it. I would know because I work there. We get people all the time who shop somewhere and come to us to buy, they will meet the price and give you 10% of the difference

So if I went in there with a prinout of the etronics website where it is posted as $117.99 you guys would give the sub to me for around $105.00?
