They won't fit on your cougar. They're EV1 and you need EV6. Unless you get an adapter hearness, but its a tight fit. I got 36 lb. EV6 trpe w/ EV1 connectors. They were too much for my car running the Knight SC. I ended up getting SVT Contour 19 lb. insted, unless your going to run a Turbo.
