I'm sure I will get flamed for asking this, but where is the quickest/safest/easiest place to connect an air/fuel gauge. And what's the best way to connect it and what kinda things should I be careful off. Sorry, I'm just not good with things having to do with the engine. Any help would be appreciated.

you can weld in an O2 bung and get the true reading....

or...

just run the wire through the dash/fire wall, along the fender wall, up to the front and loom it in with the rad hose....then soder it into one of the wires on the wireing harness (I think it's pin 8 but can't reember to be honest with you) and enjoy the light show.

A/F gauge install: first locate your ECU wiring harness. Next by looking at the wiring diagram find the 02sensor wire. this wire is where you will splice in the Gauges 02 wire. splice by cutting the 02 wire from ECU. then strip some cover off the wire. then put shirnk tube on wire. When you bend the connection over each other then slide the shrink tube over the area where all the wires are connected use a soldering Iron or a mini torch and apply enough heat for the shrink tube to actually shrink and make sure that the wires have a connection.

then you must repeat the same procedure with the power source. you must now splice the power source into the Ignition On wire. then locate a ground source any will do repeat then start car and watch your needle bounce.

I know how to do the power and ground stuff. I install stereos and stuff for a living. I just wasn't sure about the O2 wire. Thanks for the help tho guys.

What can I say, I like bright, shiny, flashy things, lol. Just kidding. I plan on adding a Zex wet kit by the end of the year, and since I'm putting gauges in now, I decided to just go ahead and add the a/f gauge now.

What good is the A/F gauge gonna do if it isn't even accurate?
