i plan on doing the mtx swap sometime in the near future and was wondering what happens with the reverse lights after the swap? what will i need to do to get them to work? thanks

There is a reverse light sensor on the MTX's and it's the same connector on the ATX's. There shouldn't be a problem as long as you plug in the sensor.

oh alright sweet. thanks. Also would you be able to tell me the advantages of having an mtx ecu? i know i dont NEED one but ive read that its recomended

The sensor is different on the 02 model with the revised shift tower, I know it was when I put it into my 99... it's just 2 wires anyways ;)

You can order a jumper for the newer sensor that will convert the plug to the correct one.

I still don't have reverse lights, lazy about getting the right connector I guess.
