i have an 02 cougar 35th anny. and wondering if these are electronic throttle because when i floor it at a stop, it's delayed for a second before the car goes. is there a way to make it so i can actually squeel the tires?

It is not electronic. I suppose if you tighten the cable a little bit that would help.

He stated this was happening from a stop. So shifting down is not the problem.

the throttle cable has a little slack in it so when i step on the gas the throttle doesn't open as quick

The SVT TB will fix that a bit, otherwise, the automatics a DOG from a stop. No, you won't be able to sqwauk 'em off. Sorry. :(

The 35th's are also a bit heavier, but the complete overwhelming sexiness of them makes up for it.
