i broke my power window button and need to know how to manually lift window

Pull up.
If you can't get at the window, you're going to need to take off the inside panel, then you can access the tracks and motor, as well as the glass.

If all you did was break the switch, why don't you remove the switch and use a jumper wire and power the window up manually or just get a new switch right away?
