Since tomorrow is supposed to bring a relief from the heat, and a boat load of sunshine, I was wondering if anyone wanted to get together for a cruise. Location does not matter much to me, I am not sure if there are any organized shows/cruises are going on. Let me know if anyone is interested and we can talk more aboout it.

I'm down. My car hasn't been taken out for a good cruise in a LOOOOONG time... Plus I have no kids tomorrow, so its all good for me.

Like I said, room at Casa de Eterna... =) It's couch room, unless ya wanna sleep in the super-heated upstairs on the kids beds, lol! But its sleeping space...

We could do the cruisin' Gratiot thing they have going on.
Is that Firday night...I thought they usually do those on Saturdays...although I may be mistaken

I'm down to cruise anywhere... I thought the CEG ppl had a Friday night place they met at, I wanna say SkunkWorks or something, they had a huge turnout each weekend, too. (Not just CEG, everyone stopped there..)

I posted over on CEG to ask where everyone cruises around here... They all said best bet would be to hit up Woodward, starting downtown and then cruising from there. But I also see a lot of ppl on Telegraph cruising and parking at the old school McD's. It's up to ya'll, I will be ready about 8pm or so, I'd assume, since I have to run back to Jackson tonight and pick up my cell phone that I forgot last nite.
If ya want we can meet at my place, I'm on Beech Daly right between 5 and 6 Mile, and then there is a car wash right on Beech, and we could head out from there. It's really depending on where we end up going, I guess. ;)

That actually sounds good to me, I know the roads between here and there, and there will be zero problems with my car getting that far, plus we're not far from home -- just in case. ;)

Ok, we had a little...ahem...incident...
I was on my way back from Jackson with my cell phone which I forgot last nite when I got a call from Ryan... Seems his battery...well...exploded. Literally, there was even acid on the underside of the hood. I turned around since he was only like 20 mins South of Jackson, and we swapped out the battery and such on the side of the highway. Well, then it needed jumped.

Yup, I pushed Ryan IN his car... :D
We got it started, got back to Jackson, got gas...dammit. It wouldn't start again. So I went to snag jumper cables, but some magic fairy had already came by when I got back and got his car running again. ;) So, we never shut it off til we got here (just now)... So we tried it again, still not starting, so tomorrow morning (Brad) I might need a jumper box. =)
But, we're here, and we will be at the meet tomorrow, both Cougars.
So sorry about tonight guys, but there was nothing we could do...
