OK....I'm sure this was answered in the SVT upgrade thread, but I looked at that whole thing and just want to make sure I have the right info.

I just bought a SVT TB from a member on here...I have a 2001 ATX cougar, so to install this I need the SVT TB bracket and also the Cruise Control cable right??

Are those both things I can get from Bill J at teamford?? I saw the part number for the bracket, but couldn't find one for the cable....so any help would be great....or if I called him would he know what I need or does he need the part numbers.

If anyone has the part numbers of the 2 items and can post it in here, so I don't have to search through that whole thread to find them that would be great...if not I will go back through it.

If I need anything else to install this TB just let me know

Yes you need the bracket and cruise control cable. You ATX has the same throttle cable as the SVT. Might want to get a SVT TB gasket too.

FR8Z-9677-AA - SVT TB Bracket

I couldn't find the cruise control cable part number, you could just call Bill up and ask for it.

Yep, think about it. If the MTX's don't need to change their cable that must mean the MTX cable works.

I have the MTX cable on my car and just used to cruise today. So I'm sure the MTX cable works.

Team Ford has the gasket and the cable, but when I put in the part # for the bracket it says item not found...I looked at all svt parts and didn't see the bracket there either:(

 Man I didn't even see that thread...all I saw was the full one with like 90 post that went all over the place.

Thanks man...and I agree that other one needs to have a sticky put on it.

I will just open that message and give Bill J a call:biggrin:
